What are the 7 Main Chakras?
The word Chakra means “spinning wheel of energy” in the Sanscrit language of ancient India. There are many minor Chakras in the body, but more importantly, there are seven main Chakras, along the spine. Each chakra is also associated with different parts of the body. The Chakras are the energetic conduits of Life, connecting you directly to the Universal Life Force. Consequently, understanding and using your chakras can easily promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing and well being. You easily can achieve a healthier balance of your body, mind and spirit, with the 7 Chakra sounds.

What is Resonance? What Does It Have to Do with the 7 Chakras?
Science has only recently recognized what the ancient mystics have known for centuries; everything, including your mind and body, is in a constant state of vibration. As the conduits of energy, the Chakras deeply influence your personal vibration. Two primary elements of vibration are sound and color. Each Chakra is associated with specific colors and sounds. Because of this, there are optimum ranges of vibration, and those ranges are called resonance. As a result, when we are in resonance, we are in balance.
The most direct way to influence the resonance of the body with sound is through balancing the Chakras. Each of the seven main Chakras govern different emotional states, as well as different parts of the body. Because of this, sound is very effective for balancing the Chakras, to heal the body, mind and spirit. It is important to know, that every cell in your body absorbs and emits sound, with a specific sound frequency. Consequently, the most direct way to influence your personal resonance is with sound healing. 
Chakra Balancing Sound & The Solfeggio Frequencies
The Solfeggio frequencies are the sacred sound frequencies used in medieval Gregorian Chants. Consequently, the chants and their Solfeggio tones were believed to bless the devout with spiritual transformation, when sung in harmony. Finally, these are derived from an ancient musical scale, quite different from the modern musical scales.
Each of the seven main Chakras responds to specific Chakra sound healing frequencies. 
The Six Solfeggio Frequencies include:
1. DO– 396 Hz – Liberating Guilt and Fear (Root Chakra)
2. RE – 417 Hz – Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change (Sacral Chakra)
3. MI – 528 Hz – Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair) (Solar Plexus Chakra)
4. FA – 639 Hz – Connecting/Relationships (Heart Chakra)
5. SOL – 741 Hz – Awakening Intuition (Throat Chakra)
6. LA – 852 Hz – Returning to Spiritual Order (Third Eye Chakra)
These Solfeggio frequencies are said to have many spiritual healing and emotional benefits. For example, the third note, Solfeggio frequency 528, relates to the note MI on the Western musical scale. This is derived from the phrase “MI-ra gestorum”, which in Latin means “miracle.” In an astounding coincidence, this is the same frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA, the genetic blueprint on which life is based!
It is not a coincidence, that the Solfeggio frequencies correspond to the seven Chakra sound frequencies, with the Crown Chakra vibrating at 963 Hz. Because of this, the Chakra Healing Sounds use the sacred Solfeggio Chakra tones. Consequently, it is believed that these profound, spiritual tones, will benefit you deeply, body, mind and soul.
Chakra Tuned Singing Bowls
In Tibetan Buddhist practice, Singing Bowls are used for trance, meditation and prayer. Although some claim Singing Bowls are for meditation, others claim they are magical tools for transformation of the self and physical matter. In fact, it’s both. Singing Bowls produce the magical and transforming sounds. The rich, organic Chakra sounds, produced by singing bowls, are unrivaled for inducing a trance state. By using Singing Bowls attuned to the seven Chakra sounds, we can achieve near magical personal transformations. Tuning Forks are a more subtle approach. Used closer to the body, but offering the same benefits.
